Celine is a reclusive young girl who spends most of her time reading manga and watching anime. Average academically and lacking in physical ability, she was never qualified to join Star Center.

When Celine becomes annoyed with someone and wants them to stop talking, she has a rather unusual way of handling it, she simply throws a slice of cheese at their face.

One day, while walking home with a newly purchased anime figurine, Celine was overheard happily singing by a talent agent. Impressed by her voice, the agent offered her the opportunity to become an idol. Although Celine despises pretending to be cheerful and dreads interacting with people, she reluctantly accepted the job.

After all, being an idol comes with one major advantage: a steady income to fund her ever-growing collection of anime merchandise and other nerdy interests.
